Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Our calzone and stromboli were delicious. The real gem of this place was the young woman working the register and waiting tables (when she wasn't too busy at the reguster). She was friendly and honestly delightful to every customer who came in.

I sent this to them via email - no response - i called manager and was offered a free slice. Keep it. Go to Burke St pizza for better pizza and friendlier employees. My niece and my mother were in there about 2 months ago and I was just made an aware of an incident that occurred. My niece is seven years old keep in mind. With their dinner, they got water and my niece got excited seeing cheerwine and before her grandmother noticed she used her cup to get cheerwine. Immediately an overzealous worker started loudly and emphatically reprimanding her from behind the counter. Her grandmother offered to pay for a soda and tried to explain they werenβt trying to steal just a mistake. The fool came out and made the child give her cup, poured the drink out and scolded her. It was apparently such an excessive display that another gentleman stepped in and again offered to just buy the soda. Iβm not sure you are aware of this but if you are I would like to follow up on how this was handled and if you are not then you should have a discussion with how to handle telling a 7 year old girl politely that she needs to make sure she gets what she ordered. It wasnβt an issue of paying for a soda nor s

We ordered a 12β works ($23 before the extra cheese) so we ordered EXTRA cheese, when we got to Car and looked at it, it was hardly any cheese on top so I went back in and talked to the gentleman and he explained that put cheese underneath?? and on top, but I begged to differ there was no cheese underneath. First time hearing Iβm very disappointed in the lack of concern, I was given, and the overallβ I donβt careβ attitude. I donβt see cheese underneath lol - see pic below.

I reviewed this restaurant 2 years ago, giving them a 5 star review... That has not changed! Always a great place and great food. WE LOVE THIS PIZZA, as well as the Fried Mushrooms!!! Although it is a small place, it gives me that New York feel of a "hole in the wall" place, where you get the BEST pizza. Their ingredients are excellent and the pizza, brings me back to NY all the time. Their fried mushrooms are AMAZING, but the 24" pizza... Well, we barely ever bring any leftovers home... Their staff are always pleasant and appreciative of their customers. For us, this is our favorite pizza place.
